FNC_UNGA_COMMITTEE REPORT_DAY 3 Final day of MUN: DIPLOMACY AT ACTION, RESOLUTION APPROVED.

Last day of MUN began at 10:08 AM. The chairpersons started the session with the roll call. Except Saudi Arabia, other countries were ready to vote. Four countries(Germany,New zealand ,France,Spain)gave their GSL. Delegates of Germany started the GSL. Germany also stated that they are the third largest refugee country(specially refugees from Ukraine). Delegates of Germany also stated their trade policies. Delegates of France stated their budget for the refugees. France has around 660,000 refugees and they have allotted 2.3 Billion Euros for refugees' healthcare, education, etc. Delegates of Spain stated that they have three organizations to take care of the refugees and their needs. Four countries voted for the challenge. It started around 11:30am. Delegates of Somalia has challenged the delegates of France and Germany on the topic “Dumping waste on Somalia.” Delegates of Canada challenged Turkey and vice versa on the topic “Refugee Crisis.” Delegates of Turkey challenged the delegates of the United Kingdom. Delegate of Russia wanted to challenge the delegate of New Zealand but the delegates of New Zealand refused it. Delegates of Saudi Arabia wanted to challenge the delegates of India but the delegates of India refused it. By 12 noon the motion was passed for lunch break.
The next session started around 1:20pm. Six countries have submitted their resolutions. Few countries have made collaborative resolutions too. Resolutions submitted by the delegates of Russia, Bangladesh and Japan were not taken into consideration because they had submitted it after the deadline. The delegates were given time to read the resolution and make a decision. The resolutions of Canada and Turkey were passed with a majority. The resolutions of Cambodia and Somalia were also passed with more the half of the majority. All the four resolutions were passed. Around 2:45 pm the press meet took place. Finally by 3:10 pm the whole session came to an end.
