France strongly criticizes the UAE and Ethiopia for their stance on LGBTQ  , calling their policies regressive . France wishes  both nations to reconsider their position and propose more progressive policies in the coming years. It also highlighted its progressive policies in contrast. as a demonstration of its support , French government has passed a law recently making it legal for French lesbian couples under age of 43 to undergo IVF and artificial insemination. France also expresses grief over the LGBTQ community of UAE and Ethiopia, as they are deprived of basic human rights of starting a family just because of their differences.

Meanwhile France also raises concerns over underutilization of UAE’s resource, says, the country has enough resource to help underdeveloped countries but does not seem to be actively doing so. France urges UAE and Ethiopia to give enough importance in sexual education ,says, contraceptives are “useful stuffs” especially when there is an epidemic like HIV.  France names UAE and Ethiopia outdated in a world that keeps advancing. ”they should change” , says France, sex education is essential for public health , gender equality and social awareness.

Through the lens of delegate of France , the sharp division and tension between countries advocating for social reforms and those preserving conservative policies is evident .
